Ms Nur Shaira Mohd Yusoff is currently the Head of Islamic Finance Consultancy Unit and a Consultant at ISRA Consulting. She graduated in Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Finance and Banking from Selangor International Islamic University College in 2014 and obtained her Master of Islamic Economics from National University of Malaysia in 2020. Prior to being a consultant, she has served International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) as an Executive and a Research Assistant since 2015.
She has the experienced in performing review and audit legal documentations, product structuring for various financial and non-financial institutions, analysing stocks from REITS, ETFs and equities, locally and globally. Aside to that, she has been actively involved in developing professional training contents, coordinating training events and study visits for international participants. She is also involved in coordinating and participating in research project focusing in the area of waqf sukuk, Islamic banking and takaful, risk management and governance. Her research paper for Masters of Islamic Economics focused on the Significance of Governance and Regulatory Framework in Waqf Institutions in various jurisdictions including Malaysia, Singapore, and Turkey.
Among others, she has been administering business development with local and global clients aside to designing and creating business proposal for ISRA Consulting.
