IE-Lab Activities are designed to immerse participants in real entrepreneurial environments where ideas are tested, refined, and brought to life. These activities foster innovation, collaboration, and practical learning, enabling participants to gain meaningful experience beyond the classroom.

Business Model Canvas Competition

A IE-Lab Flagship competition that challenges participants to develop innovative and sustainable business models using the Business Model Canvas framework.

Participants gain exposure to:
Entrepreneurial Thinking
Develop the mindset required to identify opportunities, solve real-world problems, and create value through innovation. Participants learn to think critically and creatively, challenge assumptions, and approach business ideas with agility and resilience while aligning with ethical and sustainable principles.
Strategic Business Modelling
Gain the ability to design, analyze, and refine business models using the Business Model Canvas framework. Participants learn how to structure key components such as value propositions, customer segments, revenue streams, and cost structures to build viable, scalable, and sustainable ventures.
Pitching and Presentation
Build confidence and communication skills to effectively present business ideas to stakeholders, investors, and judges. Participants learn how to craft compelling narratives, articulate their value proposition clearly, and deliver structured, persuasive presentations supported by data and strategic insights.

Post BMCC Intervention

Post BMCC Intervention supports selected teams from the competition to further develop their ventures.

Participants receive guidance from experienced mentors, including entrepreneurs, industry practitioners, and academic experts. Mentors provide valuable insights, feedback, and support to help teams refine their ideas, overcome challenges, and strengthen their venture strategies.
Structured Venture Development Guidance
Teams are guided through a structured development process that helps transform ideas into viable business ventures. This includes refining business models, validating market needs, improving operational strategies, and ensuring alignment with sustainable and ethical principles.
Industry Exposure
Participants gain direct exposure to industry practices, trends, and expectations through interactions with professionals, site visits, and networking opportunities. This exposure helps teams better understand market realities and position their ventures for real-world success.
